Product Description of 3A Molecular Sieve Desiccant

Molecular sieve (also known as synthetic zeolite) is a kind of aluminosilicate microporous crystal, which is composed of SiO and AIO tetrahedron and framework structure. Metal cations (such as Na, K, Ca, etc.) are present in the molecular sieve lattice to balance excess negative charges in the tetrahedron. The types of molecular sieves are mainly divided into: A-type, X-type, Y-type, etc. according to their crystal structure.


Selective adsorption according to molecular polarity, unsaturation and polarizability
Molecular sieves have high affinity for polar molecules and unsaturated molecules; among non-polar molecules, they have a higher selective adsorption advantage for molecules with high polarizability. In addition, molecules with lower boiling points are less likely to be adsorbed by molecular sieves.


Molecular sieve for H2O, NH3, H2S, CO2 and other polymers polarity has a high affinity, especially for water, in low partial pressure (even under 133 pa) or low concentration, high temperature (even at 100℃ or more) and other very harsh conditions still have a high adsorption capacity.
