3A molecular sieve has a large specific surface area. There are two kinds of molecular sieve, natural zeolite and synthetic zeolite. Natural zeolites are mostly formed from the reaction of volcanic tuffs and tuffaceous sedimentary rocks in marine or lake environments. At present, more than 1000 kinds of zeolite ores have been discovered, among which 35 are more important, and the common ones are clinoptilolite, mordenite, erionite and chabazite.

Molecular sieve can withstand the short-term high temperature of 600-700 ℃, but the regeneration temperature is generally below 400℃. Molecular sieve can be used in the PH range of 5-10 medium; Certain metal cations can be exchanged in saline solutions.
