Granular Zeolite 3A Molecular Sieve Desiccant for Insulating Glass Drying
Description of 3A Molecular Sieve Desiccant:
Molecular sieve (also known as synthetic zeolite) is a kind of aluminosilicate porous network crystal material, composed of SiO2 and Al2O3 tetrahedron, with uniform pore size (about a few angstroms) and extremely large specific surface area. Metal cations (such as Na+, K+, Ca2+, etc.) are present in the molecular sieve lattice to balance the excess negative charges in the tetrahedron. Different types of molecular sieves have different pore sizes or shapes and can be used to separate a wide variety of different molecules. Water is a very polar molecule, and the A-type molecular sieve has a very high affinity with water and is often used as an excellent adsorbent.
The 3A type molecular sieve for insulating glass has a lattice channel of about 3 angstroms (1Å=0.1nm), which is the smallest channel among the commonly used molecular sieves. When it comes into contact with air, it can only absorb gaseous water molecules in the air, not air. Other components in the air (the content of helium and hydrogen in the air only accounts for about 0.007%, which can be ignored). Any other molecular sieve with an adsorption pore size larger than the 3A model will adsorb oxygen, nitrogen and other gases in the air, and this adsorption capacity will be very sensitive to small changes in temperature.

Applications of 3A Molecular Sieve Desiccant:
1. Used in oil gas, gas streams of unsaturated hydrocarbon material dehydration of 3A molecular sieve professional;
2. Drying of highly polar compounds, such as methanol and ethanol. It is also used for dehydration of liquid alcohol and solvents;
3. Used for professional kerosene and jet fuel drying;
4. Application of 3a molecular sieve in isopropanol dehydration; Used for natural gas dehydration and prevent the formation of COS;
5. Used in deep desiccation of cracked petroleum gases, such as ethylene, propylene, butadiene, acetylene, and natural gas, and of polar liquid, such as ethanol, LPG, and solvent;
6. Static,(non-regenerative) dehydration of insulating glass units, whether air filled or gas-filled;
7. Drying of refrigerants; dehydration of food-grade carbon dioxide;
